Organisational structure
Sumara will adopt a centralised-decentralised hybrid approach to optimise efficiency and leverage local expertise.
Centralised Functions:
Core Development: The central team will handle the development and maintenance of the technical platform.
Legal and Compliance: Centralised management of legal and compliance aspects of the operational entity ensures regulatory adherence.
Brand Management: The core team will manage Sumara’s brand, ensuring consistent messaging and values across all markets.
Decentralised Operations:
Local Sales and Operations: In new countries, sales and operations will be managed by locally based teams. These teams will be wholly owned by Sumara, with individuals employed directly by the company.
Incentivized Hubs: Local teams will operate as decentralised hubs, incentivized as business owners. This structure allows them to utilise their local knowledge and entrepreneurial intuition to drive growth and contribute to Sumara’s strategic goals.
This organisational structure is designed to combine the strengths of central oversight with the agility and market-specific knowledge of decentralised teams, ensuring Sumara can effectively scale and adapt to diverse international markets.
